Have you been bereaved by suicide?
You are not alone.
LOSS (LOsing Someone to Suicide) is a free self-help group in Bermuda for those bereaved by suicide. We aim to provide a safe and confidential environment in which bereaved people may freely share their experiences and feelings, and in doing so support each other.  We also seek to improve public awareness of suicide and strive to remove the stigma and shame associated with suicide that can make it difficult to talk about and leaves those bereaved feeling isolated.

Join us at the BUEI as we mark this day for the first time in Bermuda.

There are millions of survivors of suicide loss around the world. On International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, we join together as one community for mutual support and understanding. The event will include the screening of a new short documentary film by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, personal stories and panel discussion.

Survivor Day is open to anyone impacted by the loss to suicide of a family member, spouse, partner, friend or colleague; as well as anyone supporting survivors in a personal, community or professional capacity. Survivors are invited to bring a photo or memory of their loved one to share on our Memory Board.
